Post by Jason M. Reeves Fri May 29, 2020 11:45 am

-- Black screen --
-- Opening sequence --

-- Viewer discretion is advised --
-- The following podcast for all intents and purposes
should never be brought up or considered in contradiction
with ROG or anyone currently involved with the company's

management, creative and talent wellness policy --

-- A S&W.357 rapid-fire sound is

quickly followed by a short intro of Michael Jackson's Bad --
-- Voice over --

???: Hellooo and welcome to "Roller Gun Radio".
That's R-O..double L..E-R ..(pause) G Radio.
Say your grace and take your space ..(pause)
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITS... GUN TIIIIIIIIIIIME!

-- Center pitched angle --
-- A heavily loaded with wires
and microphones podcast table
welcomes us to the "Roller Gun Station" --

-- Behind a MacBook pro there is
a well familiar figure to the die-hard wrestling
fans out there --
-- Smiling --

-- As the age have started to take their
toll on arguably the most recognisible wrestling
figure to ever step foot inside the Ring of Glory ring --
-- Ladies and gentleman --
-- Seemingly more buffed and out of ring shape --
-- Wearing a casual gray- "Tap Out" T-shirt --
-- Having his hair shortened into a "fade" from
both sides --
-- With a beard let on growing for a few days --
-- Two time ROG Hall of Famer --
-- The one --
-- The only --
-- ROG's "Radiant Wolf" --

-- Jason Reeves --

-- He points to the right --
-- Then he points to the left --
-- The intro songs hits again as Jason
starts dancing to the beat on his chair for
a few moments before stopping
and turning his attention towards --

Jason Reeves: "Hello there."

???: "General Kenobi."

-- Jason looks around
as if he didn't know about the voice over
he personally put to go after this line --

???: "The force is stroooooooooooong
with your podcast."

-- Jason takes a more serious
expression --
-- However he still looks to be "cringed" out
of this interaction --

Jason Reeves: Hello and welcome to
the most 'over the top' podcast
in the wrestling world.
"Roller Gun Radio", yes sir, we'll calling it down the middle.
Tonight is a very special night because
it's time that we bring to you
the FOURTH podcast of the "Roller Gun Radio"...

-- He takes a pause as a few flies appear
from out of nowhere and decide to go cruising
around the legend's forehead --
-- Jason stands still as we can see him
getting more and more annoyed as
the seconds pass --
-- He doesn't waste any time in picking the
clipboard in front of him --
-- Lipreading --

Jason Reeves: "Fuck you little
larva-egg ass
motherfuckers."

-- He swings left and right and of course misses
both of the insects as they just fly above
seemingly shifting their interest to the roof
of this station --
-- Exhaling --

Jason Reeves: Alright then.
Let's bring out our guest.

-- Reeves is about to be surprised
again as the lights in the studio start to flicker --
-- An earthquake effect spills the hot glass of
glass making Jason jump of his seat as his
blue jeans have just been officially MARKED by
those Brazilian beans --
-- Voice over --

???: Attention!

-- Jason takes a sit again
as his swearing are muted by the
upcoming greatest introduction in
RGR history --
-- Spotlight on the opposite side
of the room --
-- A two winged door opens, white
smoke covers the floor --
-- This voice over seems
oddly familiar --

???: Ladies and gentleman...
M...M...M

-- Suddenly three black heads appear
from under the frame --
-- One after the other with each
singing one octave higher than the
other --

Head 1: Trouble..

Head 2: Troubleee...

Head 3: Troubleeeeee....

-- A basic rock riff starts to repeat
over and over again --
-- Marcus Monroe appears,
dressed specifialy for the occassion --
-- A custom made for him "Roller-Gun-Radio"
red T-shirt, black jeans, appearing to be brown high-tops
and of course his favorite accessory as of late --
-- The most talk about championship in pro-wrestling today --
-- The most "over" belt in the Ring of Glory household --
-- The ROG Arisen Glory Championship buckled on his waist --

-- In one of his hands he seems to be holding
some sort of a can --
-- He opens the tube and sprays
above him as the flies bothering
Jason now drop down in an instant --

-- At the mean time we can see Jason
coughing because of the smoke,
waving it off from him using the clipboard --
-- He sees Marcus approaching and without
hesitation throws the clipboard against the
"singing heads" nailing the middle one
in the back of the head --

Head 2: Aw!

-- Jason jumps from his seat
looking surprisingly agitated --

Jason Reeves: Get the fuck out of my studio!
All of you.. get the fuck out.
Who hired you three anyway...
You're fired!

-- The three heads are now revealed in full
size dressed in white suits, looking surprised
and offended by his comments --
-- Just as their octaves differ, so does their size
as the highest one looks directly at Reeves --

Head 3: You don't pay us nearly enough
anyway old slob.. you can't fire us we're leaving.

-- They turn around and one
after the other leave the perimeter --
-- Jason continues to yell after them --

Jason Reeves: The fuck I can't.
You're fired. All of you're fired.
You're fired now, tomorrow and forever.
I am firing the small one, the middle and one
and especially the bigger one.. yes you
"stooge man" I am firing you and your
future employer too.
Idiot.

-- He starts looking for something
on and under the desk as the frame smoothly
widens and reveals a chuckling Marcus closing in --
-- Monroe leaves the can on the table and bends down
to pick up a rolling bottle of water --
-- He picks it up and hands it to Jason
who finally turns his attention to him --
-- Jason takes the bottle while motioning for
Marcus opens up his belt and puts it
standing in front of him as he takes a seat on the office chair next to him --

-- As Jason is about to take a sip from the bottle
with Marcus staring at him we can see one of the
"heads" coming back --
-- Jason watches him with a look of surprise as the man just
passes them by and takes the spray-can from the end of the table --
-- He looks at Marcus with the most vicious expression
you can imagine as even Monroe looks shocked now --

Head 1: This is mine.
Thank you.

-- He turns around and exits the studio
with Jason and Marcus still looking at his direction --
-- Marcus is the first one to break the silence --

Marcus Monroe: Well, you won't see anything
like that on Attitude Talks! for sure.

-- They both stare for a few more seconds
before Jason finally can turn his attention to his guest --

Jason Reeves: Marcus.

-- Smile --

Marcus Monroe: Jason.

-- Smile back --
-- Pause --
-- Jason takes a sip of water
before leaving the bottle next to him --

Jason Reeves: How are you feeling?

-- Marcus leans back on the chair
taking a really comfortable position --

Marcus Monroe: Like a champion.

-- He smirks at Reeves with both of them
taking a quick glance at the championship
that Marcus has brought to the table --

Jason Reeves: I can see that.
Man, it's been a while since I've been
this close to the Arisen Glory Championship..
may I?

-- He reaches for the belt but still
awaits for Marcus to give him a sign
to proceed --
-- A sign of respect which Marcus approves --
-- He personally picks up the title and hands
it to his former mentor who test it's weight
by putting it on his lap --

Jason Reeves: Wow. It's been six years at least..maybe more
since I held it. Even though I remember it being heavier.

-- Marcus's expression changes as looks away
for a split second --

Marcus Monroe: It is. That's not the premium belt.
It's a replica..

-- Jason cringes again --
-- He drops the title down as if
he's been holding a turd this whole time --
-- Marcus doesn't react at all as it
seems that he probably wanted to do the same --

Marcus Monroe: Rauko took the original.
I have to beat SM to take it back.
In essence it makes sense because...

-- Jason cuts him off --

Jason Reeves: It makes no sense.
That Mexican is driving the company down with him.
I didn't mentor you to accept other people's hypocrisy Marcus.
Come on.
You're better than that.
In life it doesn't matter how hard you hit..
what matters is how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward..
that's how winning is done.

-- He starts to exhale heavily
after that last run with Marcus just standing
there with eyes wide open --

Marcus Monroe: I can't believe that you just
threw "Rocky" at me. Damn!

-- They both start laughing at that --

Marcus Monroe: You haven't lost your touch, old man.

-- The famous Reeves smirk
that runs through the bloodline --

Jason Reeves: And I won't be loosing
it anytime soon my boy.
But enough pleasantries,
let's get down to business
shall we...

-- He looks around trying
to find his notes realizing that he
accidentally used them to soak up
the dripping coffee from before --

Jason Reeves: Jeez. We're starting
off on the wrong side today.
Oh, well..

-- Pause --
-- Look back at Marcus --

Jason Reeves: You mentioned Rauko,
you mentioned SM. Tell about this dude,
what's his deal?

-- Marcus looks vividly intrigued
by the question --

Marcus Monroe: Aren't you legends
supposed to know everything about everything?

-- Chuckle --

Jason Reeves: To be fair, I wasn't interested
in knowing "everything about everything" ever
since Aid and Super Girl whooped my ass at Night of Glory.
Speaking of asses I haven't heard from Covell since.

-- Marcus tries to appear as concerned
as one may be in a case like this one --

Marcus Monroe: How is the old hag?

-- Jason gets serious for a moment --

Jason Reeves: You call him an old hag again
and even I won't be able to save your neck, Monroe.
He took the loss personally.
Like a "scorn" of sorts.
Loosing the biggest tag-match of his career

kind of put everything else he's done in a shadow.
For me it's ridiculous phase that just needs to pass.
We all know what Patrick Covell has done for ROG

and until I breath he will be the only man who I truly
can call an equal.

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: Besides, let Aid have his moment.
It might be his last coming this Night of Glory.

-- Smirk --

Marcus Monroe: You really think Alana will beat him?

-- Jason's expression remains cold and neutral
as his words come out even colder --

Jason Reeves: We'll get to that.
I asked you to come here so we can talk

about you career.
And right now you have a Steel Cage match

against SM HeartBreaker.
I'll ask you again, what is this guy's deal?

-- Time to get serious --
-- Marcus's expression loosely matches
that of his former mentor --

Marcus Monroe: SM HeartBreaker is a hypocrite, mentor.
SM HeartBreaker is the lowest form of skunk

known to mankind and come Night of Glory I will
exterminate him the same way I exterminated
those flies over there.

-- He briefly points at the dead flies
as we get a close up for a moment --
-- They are dead indeed, not even flinching
a leg anymore --

Jason Reeves: That's one interesting point of view that you have.
What I've found out about SM HeartBreaker is that he is a man
who came
to Ring of Glory with a "fat" resume and a list of
accommodations made by several of the biggest names in the industry.
A veteran.
An experienced leader.
A man able thrive in dangerous environments..
such as ROG on it's "good days".

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: He comes in with a "backbone"
and a "chip on his shoulder"

only to get his path crossed with yours.
Deliberately? Accidentally?

-- Chuckle --

Jason Reeves: As I think of it he does remind me
of someone I know. Can you guess who?

-- He smiles at Marcus who doesn't
take much time in answering --

Marcus Monroe: Even if you two do
share some traits there are major differences.
Most people aren't familiar with how our story started.

But non the less I've been a fan of Jason Reeves ever
since he came to Ring of Glory.
I knew what we had even back then when nobody believe
what a man reaching the fall of his prime can accomplish
over the course of several years.
All the matches, all the moments.. all the championships, Reeves.
One major difference.
Jason Reeves always delivered in big matches.
You've won way more than you have lost and

your track history can prove it.
...
Just like SM's track history
can prove that he...is a... looser

-- Silence --
-- Smirk --

Jason Reeves: Yet. Aren't you concerned?

-- Dazzled --

Marcus Monroe: About him? No.
Why should I be?

I know how good I am.

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: But do you know how good he is?

-- Silence --

Jason Reeves: You see Marcus, one mistake
you have made ever since you came
under my tutorship.
Considering the fact that you are one smart guy,
I can totally relate to you.
It took me a long time to figure out the same thing

for myself so listen carefully.
Life is not about statistics.
It is a lot about math.. but math ain't statistics.
You can't assume that you can beat someone just by

doing your "homework" over them.

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: There are other factors
that you need to take under your account.
Like heart, resilience, passion... like "grit".

-- Smile --

Jason Reeves: I've learned that after
I lost my last match.
That is why I am content with being retired.
I know my limits.
For me the time has long passed.
But for you...

-- He looks down at the title belt he dropped --
-- Carefully he picks it up and lays it on the table --

Jason Reeves: You are in the prime of your career.
You are the Arisen Glory Champion.
You've helped in elevating this championship back

to some of it's former glory... but you've also
started a quest that I'm not sure you'll be able to finish.

-- Marcus listens with interests not getting
defensive or aggressive against his mentor --

Marcus Monroe: Enlighten me then.
What am I missing?

-- Chuckle --

Jason Reeves: Apart from the fact that you are one arrogant prick, Marcus.
I think you already know the answer.

You said that SM has bitten more than he can chew coming Night of Glory.
BUT
What happens if he actually wins?

-- Marcus gets serious --

Marcus Monroe: He won't.

-- Jason continues to push him --

Jason Reeves: That's to be seen.
What happens if he wins hypothetically,
have you thought about that?

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: I'll tell you what happens.
Everything that you've worked so far

since coming back will be completely gone
...

boom
...
pfuuuu

-- He blows his closed fingers into an open hand --

Jason Reeves: But that's not the sad part, is it?
Is it Marcus?

-- Marcus doesn't say a word --
-- His sight locked on the title belt
as Reeves speaks his next words slowly --

Jason Reeves: The sad part is that
this time it's not only about you..
it.. is
about this particular item that you've carried
into my studio.

-- Both men look at the title --

Jason Reeves: The..
Arisen..
Glory..
Championship.

-- Marcus looks up at Jason --

Marcus Monroe: It is, isn't.
You're right Jason.
I don't need a win against SM in order
to further my career or make the "sponsors" happy, no.
But I WANT to have that win against SM because
if I loose this championship will be completely and utterly tarnished
by a man who doesn't respect the very foundations on which this company was build on.
While there were turmoils over the high ranks, one separate group
of people were a constant in making the best possible matches for the fans
that group of people consisted the likes of HardcoreNarcis, Mighty Misha, Mcmohr, Morpheus..
They made "Arisen Glory" mean something.
The only championship still carrying it's original form and name.

-- Pause --

Marcus Monroe: As long as I am it's holder
there is hope that the people will remember
what I never forgot.
I remember you and Patrick shortening your career
in that brutal structure that you invented just to have the upper hand.
That's how much this meant to you...

-- Now Jason listens with interest --

Marcus Monroe: But hear this.
And believe me when I say to you that I..
.. I am willing to do much more and much worse
in order to walk into this cage as champion and walk
out of it as one.. even if it means me being carried away
I will be holding this title close to my chest where it belongs.

-- Question time --

Jason Reeves: Then tell me is this more about you
restoring this title's meaning or is it about
outworking and out-thinking your opponent in what
has been presented so far as one the greatest "chess"
games in ROG history.

-- Pause --

Marcus Monroe: Both.
Out-thinking and outworking SM will
only further what I've always strove to do.
When it's all set in done I will be once again
seen as the "top performer" in this company.
The Arisen Glory Championship will be seen
as the title to win.
The Champion will be seen as the man to beat.
And every time I step between the ropes
will be the match or segment to see.
That's what it's all about.
It's about the prestige I bring to the table.
It's about the legitimacy I give to the one
standing across.

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: That's one heck of a speech.
And you're right about most of what you say.
Except... I am getting this weird feeling that
you and this championship are kind of ridding the same boat.
Don't get me wrong it's not a bad thing, no.
But the problem I see with that is that neither you
or the championship make each other more or less.

-- Marcus seems puzzled --

Jason Reeves: Allow me to simplify it.
No matter what happens one week from today
you are going to be remembered as one of the best
Arisen Glory Champions. Period.
You and this title belong together like
"sun and body lotion".
But in order to separate each other one needs to be "bigger".
Without you holding it this belt will be no more than
just a mere construction of plates and leather.
With you it is a prestigious distinction to both your resumes...

-- Pause --
-- Serious and somewhat father tone --
-- Slow exhale --

Jason Reeves: Separately you are "one" Marcus Monroe
and this is "one" Arisen Glory Championship.
One thing you are yet to achieve in order
to become "The Man" on your own.

-- Monroe catches his "drift" which literally
changes the whole completion for the remaining
of his visit --

Marcus Monroe: "The Man" on my own.
In other words.. and respectfully in your mind Reeves..

-- Pause --

Marcus Monroe: I am still "swimming in the same
pool" along with your precious offspring Alana and Bryan.

-- Jason takes a more dominant position on the chair
as his eyes sparkle for a moment --
-- You don't bring one man's kids into a discussion without
being prepared to face the outcome --
-- Even know not the best of fathers Jason has since
given his life and time to fix his wrongdoings and become
the father they needed him to be --

-- The remaining will be as intense as
you can possible expect it to be --

Marcus Monroe: Don't get defensive now, Jason Reeves.
You've taught me better than that.
I am just trying to "clear the air".
In your careful use of analogy approach
we can come to a conclusion that the famous Reeves-ego still
"runs wild".. brother

-- He mimics the great hand gesture of one Hulk Hogan --
-- Jason stands still --

Marcus Monroe: Your name may have left a tremendous
mark in their career which is something I wanted to discuss
with you ever since Bryan decided to make his "re-debut"
on my taken time.

-- Marcus takes a more dominant position as well --
-- He points at Jason Reeves as if he's about to nudge him --

Marcus Monroe: There is no one in this world that
I respect more than you after my parents even though
we don't see eye-to-eye much often.
I have and I will also consider you the father I wished I had as a kid.
But know that I am not Bryan. I am not your son.
And I won't tolerate you steering the pod towards you as you always do. No.
I am not carrying your name.
I am not the one who fucked up his life when the "pressure" became too much.
I don't have a history with drugs and alcohol abuse.
I don't have a failed marriage. I didn't go through bankruptcy
and most of all... I don't have an urge to start my own "podcast" just
to make myself feel relevant each time I bring out someone
who still fights for the food on his table and try to "crush him"
under his gigantic "Fist of Old-Glory".

-- Reeves is on the verge of braking a gasket as
Marcus doesn't stop there --

Marcus Monroe: Listen now and listen good.
I am my own person.
I am not living in your shadow... at least not since you abandoned
me to form an alliance with your precious "seed"... look how far that go.
You though that I will drawn without you but I didn't.. didn't I?
I went on to make a career for myself and even though I had some setbacks
I managed to rise for the occassion.
Yet everyone still thinks that I got so far up the card
only because I had you watching by back.

None of them know the truth.
I needed you as much as you needed me.
I gave you a chance to share my spotlight.
I gave you a chance to walk along the locker-room like you still matter.

-- Pause --

Marcus Monroe: SM said that nobody respects me in the back
and even if some of that is true it is because of you.
People still don't take me seriously because of you.
Because I agreed to play your "game" like a good lad...
and look at how that reflected on me.

-- Jason stands up from his seat getting ready to strike down Marcus --
-- Monroe yells at him with strong and deep voice --

Marcus Monroe: SIT DOWN!

-- As much as you'll be surprised I am more to say
that Jason just lowers his head and slowly obeys
Marcus's wish --

Marcus Monroe: That's right, Jason.
You sit there and ask your questions because
your fighting days are over.
I know it. As it seems you know it too.
If you try anything against me I will make sure that you
will regret it.
And we both know that I mean what I say.

-- Monroe death stares at Reeves who looks back at
him and without saying anything out of character
continues --

Jason Reeves: Why did you target Bryan?

-- Smirk --

Marcus Monroe: You really don't know?

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: Enlighten me.

-- Silence --
-- Staring --
-- Seemingly a lot longer lasting --

Marcus Monroe: It's simple.
If you get a tattoo that you liked
at some point and then

you decide that it now longer suits you
what do you do?

-- Fast answer --

Jason Reeves: You "cover" it.

-- Smile --

Marcus Monroe: Either that or
you treat it like a disease, yes.
That's what I am doing when it comes
to Bryan, Alana or even you as of this moment.

-- Pause --

Marcus Monroe: I am "covering" something
I don't see "fit" with me anymore.
And in order to get on the same page, father figure.

I actually agree with you to some extent.
I won't be "The Man" until I have a "name" that works for me.
Just like yours works and has worked at time when

I was walking around the states defending the ROG World Championship.
Then I was "The Man" because I wasn't alone.
So.. after I am done with "HeartBreaker"
I am going to focus all of my energy into fixing

my "Reeves-problem", once and for all separating us two.
As soon as I see through that inconvenience of sorts
there will be no mentions of my name as part of your "legacy".
Your fate is..fixed, "mentore".

-- Chuckle --
-- Marcus only gets angry as he stares at Reeves Sn. --

Marcus Monroe: Why are you laughing now?

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: It's not mocking of any kind, Marcus.
I am actually proud to see how far you've come so far.

If you weren't such a dick I would've actually been proud of you.

-- Marcus gets in Jason's face
as this time the old timer has seemingly
pushed the right buttons --

Marcus Monroe: May I remind you that you
are really pushing your luck here.

-- Jason's expression suddenly
changes so violently and viciously that Marcus
takes a step back on his terms and takes a hold of
his chair's arms --
-- Completely having now idea what has just happened --

Jason Reeves: And may I remind you of the fact that
I've taught you everything you know about intimidation
and crowd control.. but not everything I know.

-- Marcus gets the hint --
-- Jason has only click-bated him
into thinking that he's too weak
to defend himself --

Jason Reeves: And now Marcus, I think
it's time for you to pick your little "replica"
and call this a "stale mate".

-- Before Marcus can react Jason stands from his chair
and takes his belt out, bending it on two sides and
getting ready to use it if needed --
-- Monroe decides to take up the offer and carefully picks up
his title belt taking a few steps backward --
-- Now there is a good ten feet distance between the two --

-- Jason leaves the belt on the podcast table and leans on it
looking at Marcus --
-- His expression slowly warms up like nothing bad
has happened --

-- Marcus turns his back at him and walks towards
the door, as he opens one of the wings he stops --
-- Turn around --
-- His expression also warmer --
-- Like both of them will forever hold a high level of love and respect each other
no matter what they say or do --
-- A classic example of a very toxic friendship-relationship --

Marcus Monroe: Thank you for having me

-- Pause --

Jason Reeves: Good luck, 'Menacing' Marcus Monroe.

-- Marcus turns around and is about to exit the frame --

Jason Reeves: Prove me wrong.

-- They both share one last look as Marcus exits
the scene --
-- Segment ends with Jason taking another sip of water,
smirking under his nose knowing
that he just "railed up" Marcus to do something even he wouldn't dare to do
in order to win at Night of Glory --

You'll need to do a bit of censoring so we don't get in trouble with TWG :p

This ain't going on-air for sure.
It's just a forum thing which I originally INVENTED before
Aid stole my idea and went on to bring Attitude talks!
Thanks Aid.

It's a long story Razz

Basically we tried to air one episode even though I was against it..
TWG ended up giving us a warning (sight)
after that I decided that whatever my mind comes up with the next time around will stay here..
it's just a way for people who are somewhat interested in my characters to know how I come up
with my ideas.
What triggers them.
How I see them developing.
This particular episode will try to cover an upcoming storyline with Bryan and Marcus.

You can use it to get familiar with the format on first instance.
Soon you'll be making that sort of material in no-time. Smile
