Attitude Talks 25.4.2020 ("Menacing" Marcus Monroe And WTF? :-p )

I am leaving these two here just as a reminder that both
characters now use different cards.
Don't know if Gigantus has them added to the show layouts but 
I noticed Marus's old one being used in RPs and matches last season
so we should get that twitched soon.

-- Bryan's new appearance appears to be as
shocking as her surprise curfew on the talk show --
-- Seemingly to have taken his last hiatus
as a way to graciously build up more muscles,
clean up his overall look and grow back his hair --
-- All of that now easily noticeable out
of the tight, open white shirt that he's wearing
and the black tie -business vest on top --

-- Bryan seems to feel as comfortable as
one may be in the company of Mason and Annie,
having a laid out posture and a positive outlook --
-- Surprisingly for us both of the hosts slowly start to
express the same traits --

Annie Fong: It seems clear to everyone that
both myself and Mason are surprised to see you this evening..
can you maybe give us a "hint" to why we are having your company?

-- Pause --
-- With a smile on his face --

Bryan Reeves: I don't know about "hints" Annie
but I can give you something better.
I can give you a straight up answer ..and that answer is

-- Bryan begins taping on the panel table in perfect rhythm
imitating a drum-roll effect --
-- Stops --

Bryan Reeves: I have just been assigned to your broadcast
as a special-guest panelist meaning that the three of us
will be seeing each other.. quite often

-- Annie Fong's shocked expression goes back
and forth for a few seconds as she tries to comprehend 
the bombshell she just received --
-- Mason from the other hand... --

Mason Keller: Now wait just a minute.
You mean to tell me that someone has
assigned you to "Attitude Talks" 
and you will be serving as a Special Guest panelist?

-- Bryan and Mason go into a stare-down --
-- Still with a smile on --

Bryan Reeves: Yes

Mason Keller: You have been assigned
as a panelist to MY show 
without anybody giving me a notice?

Bryan Reeves: It seems that way.


-- Mason clearly gets a little edgy --

Mason Keller: Come on, Bryan.
The least you can do is "spill us the beans"..

-- Annie tries to intervene 
after noticing Bryan's expression reversing
back to his well known nihilistic side --

Annie Fong: Mason..

-- Cut out --

Mason Keller: Don't interrupt me.
I don't even know if you still have a contract
to this company.

-- Bryan's gaze sharpens as
Mason almost feels it's coldness
run through his body --

Bryan Reeves: If you sit down and let me
explain you will understand my role here Keller.

-- A new voice
interrupts this little conversation --

???: Don't worry about that "Hollywood"
I can easily do it for you.

-- Marcus Monroe enters the frame,
wearing a sharp Bordeaux suit with an
open neck shirt --
-- We can notice the nice new detail to his
attire which he acquired last season by
defeating Big Bad Jon in what
was a spectacular title match --
-- The Arisen Glory Championship gets
laid in front of him as he proudly takes a seat 
side to Bryan, but facing both Mason and Annie
while keeping enough distance from the young Reeves --

-- One smile in particular returns being the one
on Mason's face --

Mason Keller: "The Menacing One".. Marcus Monroe.
Now I can understand the dept of travesty haunting this
company when a man like you.. Mr. Monroe has to demand
his appearance on that show instead of being properly invited.
Excuse me for asking, but are you familiar...

-- Marcus turns his cold sight from Bryan to Mason
verbally disabling his approaches --

Marcus Monroe: Travesty you say.
Remind me if I am wrong, but hasn't this show
been around for at least a few seasons now.
Reminding people that you exist shouldn't be a description for travesty.
A travesty is getting recognition on the expense of others.

-- He looks back at Bryan --

Marcus Monroe: You know what I am talking about
don't you Bryan? Should I just do all of us a 
favor and explain why you are actually here...

-- Bryan continues to display his stoic
nature not flinching an inch to Marcus's remarks --
-- Monroe on the other hand allows a tone of 
anger to mix with his coldness --
-- Just as they are similar in qualities
these two man cannot be any more different from one another --

Marcus Monroe: One of the greatest if not THE
greatest single prospect in Ring of Glory history
demoting himself to the role of "panelist" for
a talk show that doesn't even get to have an air time.

-- Marcus looks at Annie clearly on the verge of intervening
in this conversation --

Annie Fong: Gentleman, may I remind both of you that
this is not the time or the place for your personal drama
to take up a spot. "Attitude talks" is not about that.
We are here to discuss professional not personal matters.

-- Pause --

Marcus Monroe: Annie, with all due respect.. this is not 
about "personal drama". This is about my personal view point
on the decisions that this guy has ever made.

-- He briefly gestures at Bryan, still locked on Fong --

Marcus Monroe: You want to talk about professional courtesy.
Go on then. Ask him. Ask Mr.Reeves Jr. here why
did he got released from his contract?

-- Annie and Mason both appear dazzled by
the released statement --
-- Bryan takes a more up-right position
on his chair with his arms laid up front at the table --

Bryan Reeves: Marcus..

-- Cut off --

Marcus Monroe: Ask him, Fong. 
I want to hear what sort of gibberish 
he's going to throw at us this time.

-- He looks back at young Bryan Reeves --

Marcus Monroe: Tell us the truth, Bryan.
Tell us the "real" reason behind your return.

-- Annie appears hesitant for a brief moment
then proceeds with her question --

Annie Fong: I have to agree he does have a point.
Why are you back Bryan? Why did your contact got terminated?

-- Pause --
-- Bryan takes his time as he is ready to answer --

Bryan Reeves: My contract was terminated back
when I had that match with Kadomitsu.
Marcus is right.

-- Everyone else remains locked on him --

Bryan Reeves: I made a personal decision
to have it that way. My match was supposed
to go one way, we got into a backstage dispute 
over it's conclusion. A lot of people got involved.
My father, my wife.. a whole bunch of executives.
It came down to me and Kado making the decision.
I am not proud of how it came out... nor is he

-- Pause --

Annie Fong: And then you decided to ask for
your release?

Bryan Reeves: Yes and no.
I was going to ask for it when
I got the word that the company is
already discussing budget cuts.
They presented me an offer for a new contract
with a new schedule which I decided not to take.
I did that, because if I had agreed to it.. some other guys
would've received a "call" to the office.

-- He briefly turns his attention to Marcus Monroe,
who begins to laugh over the course of this --

Marcus Monroe: BS. That's BS my friend.
You didn't take it because it didn't suit 
"The Prince" to work for less money then
what he was used to. It's never been about anyone
but you Bryan. Never. Ever since you came
to ROG you've had the biggest chip on your shoulder
that anyone related to this business both inside and outside
has ever seen.

-- Silence --

Marcus Monroe: Or maybe there was another motive
behind it. Maybe you decided to think about your future.
Maybe you decided to "hit the iron while it's still hot".
Maybe you decided that the best path for the "Bryan Reeves" brand
isn't wrestling after all and you did what all famous wrestlers from the past
went on to do.. you changed your line of work from being a fighter to being a
Hollywood-spoof. How did that turned out for ya?

-- The last sentence managed to do the unthinkable,
striking a nerve to Bryan's otherwise neutral demeaner --

Bryan Reeves: Who are you to judge my
decisions Marcus?

-- Clearly there is some suspense waiting to be released
at any moment --
-- Annie successfully manages to defuse the situation --

Annie Fong: Why did you demanded to appear
on this show, Marcus?

-- Both man now turn their attention to Miss Fong --

Marcus Monroe: Clearly it wasn't this guy over here.

-- He points at Reeves, who just smirks to it --

Marcus Monroe: I didn't demand anything.
I simply asked for an opportunity to speak my mind
about the state that this company is in.
I may not have been here for a while but I kept my tabs open,
not like this guy. I am aware of everything that has happened 
for the past few months and because of that I had a decision to make.

-- Cut off --

Bryan Reeves: Explain to me how self-isolation and so
called pilgrimage in some sort of dystopian European village
has provided you with open tabs without having the accessory benefits
of a cell-phone or internet?

-- Marcus chuckles to Bryan's remarks --

Marcus Monroe: Now who's steering the pot?
I gave something to their community willingly at least.
I didn't do it for money or fame like you Bryan.
And also.. I didn't "struck out" like you do
anything you had something big coming your way.
Face it. You ain't fit to be in a wrestling ring, just like
you ain't fit to act in front of a camera. 
You couldn't name one big role so what did you do, Hollywood?
You pick up the phone and call "papa" Reeves to get your old job back, right?

-- Bryan smiles not saying a word, trying to get
the psychological edge over Monroe or perhaps
not having anything to say --

Marcus Monroe: What you didn't know is that even your "papa" 
ain't that popular these days.. he's out of bullets, little Bryan.
His last one he used to put Alana in the main event,
because if you think that this (bitch) can achieve what she has
so far on her own.. you're delusional just like everyone else who 
thinks likewise.

-- Bryan slaps his palms on the table so hard that
they knock Marcus's championship off the table --
-- Instead of picking it up firstly, Marcus directly gets in Bryan's face
as the security reacts before either Annie of Mason --
-- The separate the two to the two opposite sides of the studio --

-- The camera faces Bryan, who instead of saying anything just
gives a sign to our security to release him as we can see
Marcus also being released on the other side --
-- Bryan looks at Annie and Mason, then while shaking his head turns around
and exits the studio leaving all the attention for Marcus --

Annie Fong: Are you happy now?

-- Monroe slowly closes the table, then picks up his championship
and leaves it laying on his shoulder as he takes his seat back --

Marcus Monroe: I'm not. But me and him go way back,
luckily I won't be seeing that peace of (crap) anytime soon because he knows I'm right.
That's why he left. And soon enough he'll quit this position as well.
Bryan Reeves is a quitter. A spoiled brat that doesn't deserve anything.

-- Monroe starts to calm himself --

Annie Fong: I assume that you'll be interested
to at least conduct our interview..
when you feel ready for it

-- Marcus takes a second to put down the championship
then motions some sort of hand gesture to the back
when a crew member comes along handing him a water bottle --
-- The champ takes a sip then nods back at Fong
as she gets ready to pop her first question --
-- However Mason throws one before her --

Mason Keller: Okay, let me start with this one.
Knowing Fong, she'll probably ask more questions
concerning that European village...

Annie Fong: You are confusing me with
someone incompetent, Keller

Mason Keller: Anyhow... I think it's 
safe to say that so far your return has been
nothing but impactfull. Winning back the Arisen Glory Championship
in your first match back in over almost two years.
What I want to know is why now?
Why did you decided to come back last season?
Why not this one ..or the next one?

-- Pause --

Marcus Monroe: Why? Well..why not?
Why not, Keller? Why should I take more time than I need.

-- Pause --

Marcus Monroe: Perhaps I should take you two back a little bit.
Explain why I went missing in the first place.
If you remember some time ago there use to be a tag team
called "Nothing But Trouble". I won't flatter myself much about it
but if I could I would've "pad myself on the back".
We went on a roll, hell we even beat Lacey and Aid.
Winning the tag team titles was the next logical steps.. unfortunately
my partner got released and I got pulled aside.
Then I am being told "look, if you want to lay the rest of your contract down
we can let you do so.. but creatively there's nothing for you to do".
You can only imagine how that felt after everything I've been through up to that point.
Being told "you had your fun, now we want to go with the new guy".
That same guy that left this studio ten minutes ago.
What would you do on my place, Mason?

-- Silence --
-- Before Keller can answer --

Marcus Monroe: What was supposed to be a short lived hiatus
later turned out to be a year long absence from television.
One part-time appearance at the Rumble. Didn't win it.
Congratulations to Max. Several house shows to which I was booked beforehand..
after that.. zero, nothing. We don't need you Marcus. Your time is up. Bye, bye now.

-- Chuckle --
-- Annie and Mason remain silent
and neutral over his tirade -- 

Marcus Monroe: I wanted something new, so I took my last paychek
and I booked myself a flight to the farthest place from this country 
as I could find. As soon as I got there, as soon as my feet touched 
that foreign land I immediately knew that I won't be coming back anytime soon.
I knew that because these people were different from the kind
I was kind of gotten used to.
Politicians, backstabbers, executives, actors, media, franchise.. all those (fucking)
examples of human nature. I find out that there was more to this...
that there was more for me, not as Marcus Monroe but as Marcus Bach.

-- Pause --

Annie Fong: So you really did build churches there?

-- Silence --

Marcus Monroe: Churches, houses, temples.. stadiums.
All the things I gave to these people I made sure they use properly.
For the past year wrestling never even came close to crossing my mind.. until

-- Pause --

Mason Keller: Until what Marcus?

-- Marcus looks back at Keller --

Marcus Monroe: Until I saw a bunch of kids playing around
one of the construction sites. Being the responsible adult I
went to them and asked them to move out. Surprisingly one of
them asked me "Hey Mr, aren't you a wrestler?" I look down
and I see a smiling little head, wearing a ROG T-shirt.

-- Chuckle --

Marcus Monroe: What happened afterwards I'll keep for myself.
The point is this. After that day I started to dream wrestling once 
more and I had to make a decisions. Clear my injuries and hit
the gym as soon as I land back on American soil.
The next thing that happened was my first of many conversations 
with the same bunch of skum that I promised myself to never meet again.
Then we have our little talk with Rauko Dur, moments before my car-window got shattered

-- He looks down at his championship --

Marcus Monroe: And I had to shatter the person who did it.

-- Annie pops up a questions --

Annie Fong: That's a very touching story Marcus, but
I still don't understand why did you asked to be on this show?

-- Pause ---

Marcus Monroe: I asked to be on this show because people tend
to listen when you two are standing here instead on that commentator's booth.
It's a been a while since I've been here and I have to admit
a lot has changed in this company.
It just doesn't have that same vibe that it used to have.
Maybe it's because most of the faces around here have changed..or
because none of them share the same beliefs that I used to be admired off.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
All of the big "draws" are not even here. Part-timers. Fakers. 
Aid and Lacey still kicking *butt together like in the old days.
I'll never forgive myself for not beating that overrated bimbo and his girlfriend one on one.
The World Heavyweight Champion, Max Thomas. I think you're okay. Considering the fact
that you're completely out of shape and look like you've eaten someone who is.
I have no idea how this company can bill you as a world champion.. I don't get it,
doubt that you can even lift that belt with one hand.

-- He shrugs and smiles at his reflection on the belt --
-- Annie seems a bit disgusted by his straightforwardness as Keller 
clearly loves it --

Marcus Monroe: But Max, don't get me wrong. In fact if I have to choose between you and the
two guys which I had to take out in order to regain this belt.. I choose you man.
I have never.. never seen more disorganized wrestlers than BBJ and what was his name? I don't remember.
To make it even worse, one of them was a CHAMPION!?! One of them was the holder
of THE Arisen Glory Championship. And he beat who.. to win this title.. Cerano?

-- He grins at Keller --

Marcus Monroe: That same Cerano who I can describe as the perfect
combination between 50 Cent, James Corgen and Ali G.
How does he deserve to be a champion these days?
How can you even let people like that come close to even look at this championship
let along win it.
Back in my days.. that wouldn't be possible. Then again, back in the old days
we actually had people who cared about the prestige and honor that comes
with being a champion. A motivation to work better, to make this company better.
Now everyone's been stagnating just to get a paycheck and get on with their life..
Almost everyone that is, there are a few names that will never stop leaching from
the back of this company until they bring it to the ground. 
That's why I came back.

-- He picks up his championship
and just stares at it for a moment --

Marcus Monroe: This championship has been disrespected the same 
way in which I was disrespected. I was disrespected by being
signed to a company that has forgotten all of it's values.
All I see is a bunch of cosplayers, having air time.
"Archetypes", "Evilutions", "Heartbreakers".
Speaking of the last.
SM may just be the only guy who actually still remembers
how this business used to work.
Reminds of someone I used to be close with.
Then again, they are significant differences.
For example, (jerkoff) I am a winner.

-- Marcus smiles at the camera and 
again puts his championship in the frame --

Marcus Monroe: I am a two time
Arisen Glory Champion.
And unlike you I didn't got beaten by some
mix-gender fanny lover at a PPV.
Consider this a formal introduction from my part.

-- He looks back at Annie --

Marcus Monroe: What a loser..
Next we move on to..

-- Annie cuts him off --

Annie Fong: I am sorry Marcus, 
but we don't have more time.
Me and Keller wish to thank you for...

-- Marcus cuts her off 
by jumping out of his seat
looking pissed as fuck --

Marcus Monroe: What do you mean
you don't have time? What am I to you.
Don't disrespect me you journalist..

-- The camera pawns on Annie as she signals
for the broadcast to be terminated
while still smiling at Marcus --
-- The frame shows us Marcus picking up
his championship and storming the exit --
