Season 55, Show 4: "Deconstruction Attitude" (Closed)
-- Scene opens --
-- Wide frame --
(Taken one week before the 13th of December)
-- Suburban's --
-- The sh*tties of sh*t places
on god's Green earth --
-- Middle class working men --
-- The city breaths the dead smoke of wasted
potential and life span --
-- All we could see is mystery in the face of
poverty on the streets --
-- Flying leaves --
-- Rattling cans, held
by the homeless strangers next to
the candy stores --
-- The passing pedestrians.. one too
poor to help the poor --
-- One too rich to care.. --
-- The focus shifts to the motion of a
paper's page thrown by the wind..
following it's movement as it
goes further into the beyond --
-- Zoom in --
-- The open road --
-- An unmistakable Thunderbird engine
echoes through the speakers --
-- Slicing through the background like a
razor-sharp blade --
-- Just as the paper lands flat on the road
it gets introduce to the LX tire --
-- Scene shift --
-- We get to the inside of this beautiful 1961 beast --
-- Custom made to fit the fiery nature of it's owner --
-- Marcus Monroe and Jay McBang --
-- Two of the most vile human beings on the planet
now standing side by side with just one things separating
the two along with the seatbelts --
-- The ROG Pure Championship takes the major spot
as the operator is sitting at the back observing
their behavior --
-- Both of them following the Pandemic guidelines --
-- Both of them wearing black masks and their respective coats --
Marcus Monroe: Thank you for agreeing to this meeting, Jay.

Re: Season 55, Show 4: "Deconstruction Attitude" (Closed)
OOC: I will be editing my parts at a later date.
Apparently I won't be having as much time as I expected
so we need to wrap this one quick and focus on the match instead.
There are probably gonna be some changes with the ending but that
we can discuss at a later time.
I have to study for an upcoming job-application exam which will probably be around mid January so I don't have that much of a time to focus on RPing as I though I would.
I want to apologize for any further inconvenience that might occur with
the storylines that I'm involved in going further but that's how things are and
they are out of my control.

Re: Season 55, Show 4: "Deconstruction Attitude" (Closed)
Jay McBang nods, talking slightly more loud than normal over the mask and the engine.
Jay McBang: You have agreed, in principle, to what comes next.
I figure I can trust you enough, for now, to get us to that point.
Besides....
From what you've already described to me, I knew I had to see it for myself.
I'll admit....
If it's everything promised, it will be a magnificent display of gratuitous violence.
Marcus's eyes shift to Jay, then back on the road.
The camera again sweeps wide, following the vehicle through the winding roads.
A large building casts a shadow over the town, as the Thunderbird drives ever closer to the Final Destination.
The video cuts to a camera on the ground, as the Thunderbird pulls closer to the building.
The car slows to a stop, as the dust of the gravel passes the faces of the passengers.
The engine cuts off, and Jay and Marcus exit the vehicle.
Both keep a distance from the other... social distance, or precaution of the other?
The men begin to walk to the building, and the camera follows, slightly behind, as the make their way to a large roll up door.
The men, without speaking, grab a handle on each side and roll the door up to show a large open area inside the building....
And a structure right in the middle.
(OOC: I took a few liberties to help you along. I figured you'd want to describe the structure and "talk" through it, so all yours. I'll keep an eye out and get started on parts)

Re: Season 55, Show 4: "Deconstruction Attitude" (Closed)
-- Jay McBang sights at this magnificent creation
positioned perfectly in the middle --
-- The seemingly small and abandoned arena used
to be the warmest place in this city --
-- A home to local boxing legends --
-- A home to bookers, aristocrats and thrill seekers
that ironically have already ceased to exist --
-- You can even call it the Taj Mahal of the Prohibition --
-- Resembling a similar vibe, the arena
covers just enough space to gather no more
than a few thousand in attendance --
-- The dust --
-- The broken chairs --
-- The smell of sweat and dead dreams
all gather here to bring the stroke of it's memories --
-- Voices --
-- The only light in this great, historical
building comes right from the top to give live
of it's violent history --
-- We can see workers, probably a dozen working
on what seems to be the most spectacular cage ever
created --
Marcus Monroe: This Mr.McBang in case you're wondering..
is called a Triple Cage.
-- And a triple cage it is --
-- Surrounding a well balanced four sided ring --
-- The large bottom layer serves as a base,
the second smaller layer placed on top divided
by a shaft right above, connecting the second to the first
lastly the third layer, serving as a small pod with just enough
room for two people to breath freely --
-- This structure has only been used once in the past
and I'm pretty sure that these two gentleman are planning
to expand everything --

Re: Season 55, Show 4: "Deconstruction Attitude" (Closed)
Jay removes his mask, and the total shock on his face has never been seen before this moment.
His head is almost fully backwards (or as far as his neck can still go) to see the very top.
Jay McBang: I will say, Marcus....
This....
I was not expecting this....
Jay begins to move to his right, still looking up, trying to "circle" the structure.
Jay McBang: 35 feet, yes?
....
Solid steel... old school....
....
Oh....
There's a hook over the top....
May as well be a noose....
Jay stops in place.
He tilts his head down, and looks at the still-incomplete ring sitting in the center, the traditional 20'x20', missing the canvas, pads, and ropes, the traditional 2x4 board laid bare for the world to see.
Jay McBang: So strange....
All I can think about is...
why I never thought of something like this?
And it's quickly followed by....
How long have you been hoping to use this?
Jay's eyes dart over to Marcus, who is now several feet away.
There's a suspicion in Jay's eyes that he's almost projecting to make sure is seen.

Re: Season 55, Show 4: "Deconstruction Attitude" (Closed)
Marcus Monroe: How long?
(long pause)
For as far long I can remember...
-- He shares a witty smirk to the
man standing to his right --
Marcus Monroe: The landowner is a close friend,
who also happens to be quite obsessed with our business.
Years ago he let me use this old..history rich arena to my liking.
So.. apart from using this place as a personal "dojo" I also
bought and brought the needed equipment.
Over the years I have donated to his other projects while also
making sure that this building stays where it is until the right time comes...
-- They both share a deep stare --
Marcus Monroe: As you can see Jay, I have been designing
this moment my whole career... Hell, I have been designing
it my whole life.
This is my "means" to ascend further than any other performer before me.
This is.. or should I say Was.. my "backup plan".
-- A moment of silence --
-- Marcus makes a step forward as
Jay follows him completely subconsciously
without taking his sight of the structure --
Marcus Monroe: This place is indeed sacred.
I finally have the ability to create
something truly amazing.
The only thing I was missing was a "right hand".
-- They close the base as every worker greats Marcus
with open hands and smiles --
-- They know him well and I mean well.. they know
the real Marcus Monroe, not "The Menacing One"..
not "The Worst Human Being on the Planet".. No.
they know Marcus Bach --
-- As they stop moving, Marcus takes a wrench
from the box standing next to him --
-- He takes it in his hand, studying it's weight and use --
-- Jay remains calm but cautious around Mr. Monroe,
who know seems even more serious than without this
item's possession --
-- Surprisingly Marcus slowly extends the wrench to
McBang who hesitates in taking it --
Marcus Monroe: It's okay. It won't bite you.
-- Initial chuckle --
-- Jay carefully takes the wrench
and follows up in Monroe's routine as
he stops his train of though --
Marcus Monroe: I want you to be my "right hand" Mr. McBang.
I brought you here because I need you.
I never thought that it will be someone like you but you are..
someone like you.
-- This last sentence doesn't come out good
even for Jay's taste --
Marcus Monroe: And you can help me achieve... greatness.
If greatness is still the price we both pay in exchange to our vise.
(long pause)

Jay looks down at the wrench.
Just on his face, one can almost see the memories passing across Jay's eyes.
Jay McBang: Many times, I have had my hand on the destruction of others... and of the destruction of myself.
Jay looks up at Marcus, then looks around to the crew as he speaks.
Jay McBang: My name is Jay McBang....
I don't require any other form of being addressed.
And I'll be happy....
Jay now settles his eyes on Marcus's
Jay McBang: To work by your side on this endeavor.
There are murmurs of approval, as the two men share an understanding of the duality of those words.
The men turn to enter the cage as the video fades to black.
(OOC: Okay, I didn't actually know if more was coming. If it's not the end, just ignore the last line. I figured given your time restraints this would be the best way to go about things.)
