Sandra Evans: Hello everyone!
For those of you who don't know me.
I'm Sandra Evans.
The one who introduces the ROG wrestlers into the ring everytime before a match starts
And the one who welcomes you all to this new show.
Behind The Curtain.
A show where I get to interview Ring Of Glory personnel.
But this is not like interviews that you see on Attitude.
On Pay Per Views.
Or even on Attitude Talks.
These interviews will show you a side to ROG personnel that you generally don't get to see on TV.
Show you things about them that you didn't know about.
A lot of people would call these, "shoots".
"Shoot", interviews.
And so with that, I'm going to introduce this new show's first ever guest.
And what a first guest we have in store
Sandra pauses for a couple of seconds
Sandra Evans: A former Arisen Glory champion.
A three time Tag Team champion.
A former Glory World champion.
And, a Ring Of Glory Hall Of Famer.
This guest has been with Ring Of Glory since virtually the start of the company.
A lot of people would call this person "The Franchise" of Ring Of Glory.
Ladies and gentlemen, the very first person to get interviewed on this brand new show is.....
The man formerly known as Super Aid.

Sandra stands up and sees Aid walking in from the right
They hug for a few seconds before Sandra sits back down and Aid sits down on the chair next to the left of Sandra
Aid: You know Sandra, let me just point something out before we start this interview.
You just mentioned that a lot of people would call me "The Franchise" of Ring Of Glory.
But there are some other wrestlers who would probably get called that too.
Like, Super Girl.
Lacey.
Max Thomas.
Just to name some names
Sandra Evans: Thats a very good point Aid.
Anyway, welcome to this new show
Aid: Thankyou Sandra.
And nice to see you doing something other than just introducing us wrestlers into the ring for matches.
Which you've got a great job of doing for many years
Sandra Evans: Thankyou Aid.
Now before I get to start asking you the questions, you've had a busy day here today in Canada.
With this meet and greet event with the fans here in this building.
Signing autographs for them
Aid: These kind of events I just love doing Sandra.
Its not just about signing autographs for the fans.
Its also about interacting with them verbally.
Having discussions with them.
Telling stories.
And making sure that they have a great time.
Because without the fans, Ring Of Glory would not be around today.
As far as I'm concerned, they're the number one reason why Ring Of Glory has been going all these years.
The number one reason why, Ring Of Glory has been so successful
Sandra Evans: Very, very, true Aid.
So now, coming to the first question.....
Aid looks out towards the camera in front
Aid: A moment of history is about to be made folks.
The very first question that Sandra is ever going to ask!
Sandra Evans: HAHAHA!
Aid looks away from the camera in front
Aid: On this show of course.
Don't want to get people believing that you've never asked a question in your life Sandra
Sandra Evans: Oh something like that would not bother me Aid.
And speaking of your name, I want to come to that soon.
But now, the first question.
Growing up as a young boy, was you a fan of Professional Wrestling?
Aid: As a young boy Sandra, I did watch it.
But Professional Wrestling was not the number one thing for me.
The number one thing for me was Football.
Or "Soccer" as the Americans like to call it.
I was a sporty person.
As a young lad, what I wanted in my future years was to be a footballer.
Not just a "normal" footballer.
But wanting to become, one of the best footballers on the planet.
Of course, I didn't get the chance to try and do that.
And one of the main reasons for that is myself

Aid: One of the things I'd like doing.
Especially after I left school.
Was to go training in gyms.
Get fitter.
But especially, get stronger.
But the thing is, getting stronger and growing muscles turned out to be quite easy for me.
Because of the hard work I was putting in training with using heavy weight plates for barbells.
And using heavy dumbells.
Somewhere along the line, it came to the realisation that I would be better off pursuing a career in Professional Wrestling.
Then pursuing one in Football
Sandra Evans: Was this realisation something you came to yourself?
Aid: Partially.
Mainly it was down to a man who I had a conversation with one day.
He told me that with the way my body was looking, I should pursue a career in Pro Wrestling.
I could so easily have said no to him.
But instead, I did what he suggested.
I considered the option to pursue a career in Pro Wrestling.
And in the end, I decided "Why not? Lets give it a try"
Sandra Evans: So.....
Aid looks down and notices that his laces need doing on his right trainer
Aid: Hang on Sandra.
I better get this out of the way
Sandra Evans: Okay
Aid bends down to attend to his right trainer
Suddenly, sneaking in on the right was a grinning Eve Star who is wearing tight dark blue jeans along with that white t-shirt having a horse on it with Aid's face covering the horse's face and Eve shown sat down on the horse which she wore on an Attitude show last year
Eve also has a crown on top of her head
She sneaks slowly up to Aid as laughing is heard in the background behind the camera
Aid starts tying up the laces on his right trainer
Aid: What are they laughing at Sandra?
Sandra Evans: Erm.....
Suddenly, Eve turns her back to the left of Aid
Eve sits her bottom down fullweight on the middle of Aid's back whilst still grinning
Aid is forced to stop what he is doing
Aid: Oh God no
More laughing is heard in the background behind the camera
Aid: Is that you sitting down on my back SJ?
Nows not the time for any silly horsey rides
Sandra chuckles
Sandra Evans: I would say not quite Aid
Aid: Not quite Sandra?
Eve Star: Ah yes.
Aid, the perfect seat for me

Aid: I should have known
Sandra Evans: Well, we've got an unexpected visitor showup here.
In the form of Eve Star.
The Queen Of Glory.
And the NEW, Glory Women's champion
Sandra chuckles
Eve Star: Aid, the perfect throne for Queen Star
More laughing is heard in the background behind the camera
Aid: The what?
Erm Eve, I need to finish tying my trainer.
So if you don't mind.....
Eve Star: I don't mind Aid.
Just go ahead and finish doing what needs doing
Sandra Evans: Might as well Aid
Aid: That wasn't quite what I was expecting from her Sandra.
Oh well
Aid finishes tying his right trainer
Aid: Okay Eve, time to get your butt off my back
Eve Star: Oh but I want to stay on your back for a while.
But since its you and you're one of my best friends.....
Eve unseats herself from Aid's back

Sandra Evans: Okay

I've seen you wear that shirt before Eve
Aid: What?
Don't tell me its that.....
Sandra Evans: Yes.
Its that shirt with a horse on with your face covering its face Aid.
And Eve sat down on the horse
Aid chuckles to himself
Aid: Typical Eve that
Eve Star: I love this shirt
Aid: I know you do.
You don't need to remind me
Sandra Evans: Anyway Aid.
We were on about you deciding to give Professional Wrestling a try.
How did you go about doing this?
Aid: Well Sandra, I had luck on my side.
I had luck because England has a lot of Wrestling schools there
Aid looks towards the camera in front
Aid: And for any young person out there who might be watching this.
And want to get into the Pro Wrestling business.
I cannot stress enough the very importance of Wrestling schools.
If you're serious about going into the Professional Wrestling business, then go to a Wrestling school.
Wrestling schools will help you.
Wrestling schools will teach you the important things.
That you need to know about the Professional Wrestling business.
Give you the necessary skills that you need.
Just remember, getting taught what you need to know does not happen overnight.
It can take years for you to know everything.
Years for you to be ready for the big wide world of Professional Wrestling.
So be prepared to put the hard work in

Sandra Evans: Of course, you've got your own gym which does this
Aid: Correct Sandra.
A gym back in my home city of Birmingham which is owned by me and Super Girl.
We get a fair amount of people coming in and having a keen interest in getting into the Pro Wrestling business.
Does everyone end up getting into the Pro Wrestling business?
No.
Just like with every Wrestling school around the world, not everyone that attends the gym ends up getting into the business.
Theres several different factors into why they don't succeed in getting in.
Thats life.
Thats just the way it is
Sandra Evans: Your gym also gets well known wrestlers coming in to train from time to time
Aid: Indeed Sandra.
Eve here, she regularly comes to the gym to train when she can.
We get other ROG wrestlers who in the past go to train in mine and Super Girl's gym when they can.
And some still do.
Like Lacey.
Like Sonic Xavier.
Like Kid Kitsune.
Desmond Curtis.
Just to name some.
And we also get well known wrestlers around the world in other feds who from time to time, come to train in mine and SG's gym
Eve Star: Its a great place
Aid: So anyway, after learning everything I had to know in Wrestling schools, I started going around.
Spending quite a while in fact.
Wrestling in local based shows in the West Midlands area.
Then with enough expereience, I started Wrestling around the country.
Then, in the whole of the United Kingdom.
Again, having gained the necessary experience.
All, for Wrestling for small Wrestling promotions.
But then one day, I got an offer.
An offer from a guy to come and join his Wrestling company.
Extreme Style Wrestling
The name of this guy was Kojo Styles.
So anyway, I joined the company in two thousand and ten.
Did some matches for them.
Something like fifteen I think.
Actually NEVER, lost a match.
Not one hundred percent sure if I won every match.
But I know I never lost one.
Not even by dqs.
Not even by countouts.
I was the Extreme Reckless champion.
HardcoreNarcis and Drake Reinhardt were also there at the same time as me.
Things were going along just fine.
But then suddenly from out of nowhere, the company went out of business
Sandra Evans: Did you know the reason for that?
Aid: No.
We just got told one day that the company would no longer operate.
It would no longer be doing any shows.
It was finished.
Dead.
That came as quite a bit of a shock to us.
So after this, I took a bit of a break.
And then next up for me, Ring Of Glory
Sandra Evans: I can understand why it would come as a shock to you guys.
That the company would just suddenly, shut it's doors.
And never explain why
Aid: Never getting told the reason why was the frustrating part
Sandra Evans: You wrestled there as Super Aid.
Which is what you originally did here in Ring Of Glory.
How did you come about getting called Super Aid?
Aid: Correct Sandra.
On both counts.
My real name is Adrian but I've been tended to get called Aid a lot more over the years.
As for how I came about to being called Super Aid.....
Aid pauses for three seconds
Aid: One day, me and a group of guys were having this discussion.
About who each of us would best be if we starred in a TV show.
Or in a movie.
For this one guy, we all thought he would be best being Barney the purple dinosaur
Sandra Evans: HAHAHAHAHA!
Aid: Seriously.
Thats is one hundred percent true.
And for another guy, it was thought he would be best being wait for it.....
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.

Aid: I can think of one or two that is or has been, on the ROG roster who could play the part of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman
Sandra Evans: Maybe we should ask all the ROG wrestlers who they would best be in a TV show or movie
Eve Star: Ask me!
Sandra Evans: Another time Eve
Aid: Well Sandra, don't go asking Super Girl.
Its very obviously who she would be.
Has for what lead to me becoming Super Aid, the group of guys believed that I would be best being Superman.
And we've watched all the Superman films.
This is something I never forgot.
And something I thought about when deciding on a name for myself.
So bottom line is, I decided to call myself Super Aid.
Aid being short for my real name which is Adrian.
But I probably wouldn't have called myself that if I hadn't watched those Superman films
Sandra Evans: So after the company you had wrestled for went out of business, what next?
What turned out to be the next and current step in your career?
Aid: Coming to Ring Of Glory
Sandra Evans: So how did you end up signing for Ring Of Glory?
Aid: Well firstly, let me just say this.
There was not one.
But two individuals who wanted me to come to Ring Of Glory.
One of them is in fact, right here with us
Sandra Evans: What, Eve?
Aid: Yes
Eve Star: Its true.
Its damn true.
I watched Aid a few times in action in that company he was talking about.
I loved seeing him kicking butt in the ring.
Then not long after Ring Of Glory was formed, I heard that company had gone out of business.
It was then that I realised that I would love to see Aid in Ring Of Glory.
I wanted to see it happen.
Aid.
In Ring Of Glory.
And it did eventually, happen
Aid: Its true that Eve here played a major role in me joining Ring Of Glory.
But the one who really pushed for me to come was Lacey.
She was the one who helped make it happen for me.
Of course, the ROG headquarters is based here in Montreal.
The home city of Eve.
And Lacey.
But yeah, I'm grateful for these two helping me get into Ring Of Glory.
Of course, I didn't come alone
Sandra Evans: You brought Super Girl with you
Aid: Correct.
Outside of the squared circle, bringing Super Girl to Ring Of Glory with me was the best thing I ever did
Sandra Evans: So now you're a part of Ring Of Glory.
And yet here you are, nearly nine years later.
And you're still, with Ring Of Glory.
Did you ever think that you would last this long?
Aid: Absolutely not.
Absolutely no way in hell did I think that I would last this long.
If I had lasted around five years, I would have been happy with that.
But nearly nine years?
Maybe going on to a full decade?
Never.
Never thought that would happen.
But here I am.
Nine years later.
And I'm still in Ring Of Glory.
So is Super Girl.

Aid: Indeed
Sandra Evans: Nine years.
Like you just said.
Thats how long you've been in Ring Of Glory.
So I want you to take a look back now on your career in ROG
Aid: Okay
Sandra Evans: Throughout your ROG career, what would you say was the best match you've ever been involved in?
The biggest win you've ever had?
Your favourite in-ring opponent?
Favourite tag team partner?
Best moment?
Best thing you ever did?
Aid: Oh boy

Aid: Answering these will be interesting.
Okay, here goes.
For the first one

Aid: When me and Super Girl appeared for the first time in a ROG ring, one of the things we said we were going to do was to put on great matches.
And the number of great matches I've had in ROG over the years well, I've lost count on how many of them I've had.
There was that Four Team Elimination match inside a Steel Cage for the Tag Team Championship.
When me and SG went into the match as the champs and ended the match as former champs.
There was that loser must retire match at Night Of Glory Thirty Five.
With me and Cartwright.
The Attitude match where I challenged Jason Reeves for the Glory World Championship.
The time when I faced off with the GM of ROG at the time.
Morphy's wife, Helena.
The first ever one on one match I had with Lacey.
You know, the one where Hypnos chokeslammed Lacey through the announcer's table after the match
Sandra Evans: Who could ever forget that.
It played a big part in the Attitude versus Evilution war
Eve Star: What about me Aid?
Wrestling me was the best match you've ever been involved in right?
Aid looks towards Eve
Aid: Well Eve.
I have to admit, the tag match me and SG had with you and SJ last year was definitely one of the best matches I've ever been involved in
Eve Star: But.....
Aid: But....
Aid pauses for a couple of seconds as he looks away from Eve and looks back towards Sandra
Aid: I have to go with another match that took place last year.
A match that opened up the first Attitude show after Night Of Glory Fourty Nine.
And that was me.
Versus.
Super Girl.
Seriously, that had everything.
Drama.
Emotion.
The countless number of times where Super Girl almost ended my career.
Me surviving TWO, Super Bombs in a row.
The stipulation of me having to retire if I got pinned or made to submit played a big part in it.
Now me and Super Girl have never had bad matches against each other.
Generally, our matches have been great.
None more greater than the last match we had last year.
Whatever matches I have between now and the end of my career, will probably likely not top that one.
Even the very last match that puts me into retirement may not top it

Aid: Now for the biggest win I've ever had.
There was obviously that retirement match with Cartwright at Night Of Glory Thirty Five.
Which I won.
And put Carty into what would turn out to be a "temporary retirement".
Me defeating Super Girl to win the Glory World Championship at Night Of Glory Twenty Three
And ending her record breaking streak as the Glory World champion.
Does she still hold that record?
Sandra Evans: She may do
Aid: But for me, the biggest win was when me and Super Girl became the first ever Tag Team champions.
It was the very first championship that me and SG had won in ROG.
Without this, I would have not had the career that I have had.
I may not have become a ROG legend if it wasn't for that.
So yeah, winning my first championship is what set me on my way.
As for my favourite in-ring opponent.....

Aid: I'm fortunate in that I've never had an opponent that I disliked having matches with.
Never had anyone I disliked working with.
I loved the matches I had with Jason Reeves.
Sonic Xavier.
Cartwright.
Gigantus.
Hypnos.
Nikky.
Nicole Trunfio.
Tammy.
Alana Reeves.
Vanessa Dynamite.
SJ Pandora and Eve Star.
The list could go on and on

Aid: I especially loved wrestling with Lacey though.
She was awesome.
But for sheer consistency of how great our matches were, my favourite in-ring opponent has to be Super Girl.
That last match with her which I had mentioned to you was a perfect example of why.
And shes also my favourite tag team partner.
I mean, we've been Tag Team champions three times.
I absolutely loved teaming with Lacey too.
And this lady sat on my lap as well.
But definitely Super Girl because of what we've done together

Aid: The best moment for me was doing this interview
Sandra Evans: HAHAHAHAHA!
Aid: Seriously though, I would have to say Lacey inducting me and Super Girl into the ROG Hall Of Fame.
And for the best thing I ever did.....
It was bringing Super Girl to ROG with me.
Because without her, I wouldn't be here right now.
I probably would likely have not lasted the amount of time that I've had in ROG.
Then again, I would probably say this same thing if it wasn't also for the likes of Lacey.
And Eve here
Eve Star: Thats because we love you Ade

Eve Star: We love him really Sandra

Sandra Evans: I can tell.
And I know for a fact Aid that you are quite a popular figure backstage Aid.
You're regarded as like, a locker room leader
Aid: True Sandra.
I like to see people who come in to ROG succeed.
Have successful long careers.
But to do that, they need to put the work in.
Thats why there are places like the gym that me and Super Girl have.
And the ROG performance centre.
Something which I actually didn't mention earlier but will now.
Places, like these that can help them.
And something else that they need.
Is one word.
One key word.
Patience

Aid: Also, there are a couple of things that I do not like.
Wrestlers getting bullied.
And wrestlers with inflated egos that think they are bigger than ROG.
Bigger than the Wrestling business.
Theres a couple of names that come to mind.
But I will not say their names.
Because their names don't deserve to be mentioned
Eve Star: Aid once saved me Sandra
Aid: Thats true.
Now Eve here, she can look after herself.
But there was this one time.
Backstage.
When Eve was getting bullied by two drunken yobs.
Because she politely turned down their requests to take her out on a date.
Something which did not sit well with the drunken yobs.
Did security showup and put a stop to it?
No.
It was me and Super Girl.
There was people there though whilst this was going on.
So me and SG, we got a hold of those two yobs and threw them out of the arena.
Like sacks of garbage.
And the people that were there to witness this?
They cheered.
They cheered me and SG for what we did.
Bottom line is, we love to interact with people.
But theres a line that should not be crossed
Eve Star: Damn right
Aid: And believe me Sandra, if someone tried bullying the likes of me.
Super Girl.
Lacey.
HardcoreNarcis.
Alana Reeves.
Bryan Reeves.
Jason Reeves.
Patrick Covell.
Max Thomas.
Big Bad John.
SM HeartBreaker.
Arkken The Archetype.
Etc, etc.
All that someone would achieve is making a fool of himself or herself
Sandra Evans: So before your career does come to an end, is there anyone you've never wrestled but would love to?
Aid: Very good question that

Aid: Lets start with those outside of ROG.
There is this one lady that I would love to tangle with in the ring.
A very well known lady.
Called, Platform.
It would be fun to see what would happen.
Will the match ever happen?
Probably unlikely.
Afterall, I do have this stipulation hanging over my head.
Where the next time I lose by getting pinned or being made to submit, my career is over.
Now I'm only saying its probably unlikely to happen.
I'm not saying it will never happen.
Because you never know.
Madam Snapshot is another I would have loved to have wrestled.
I've spoken to her a few times and shes always been good to be.
But I can say that a match between me and her will definitely never happen.
Because I believe shes retired.
And also, a couple of former ROG wrestlers
Sandra Evans: Like?
Aid: Like, Charlotte Kelly.
Remember when she came to ROG?
In her in-ring debut, she defeated Alexis Covell to win the Glory Women's Championship!
Sandra Evans: It was quite an upset at the time
Aid: Indeed.
Shame she didn't stick around long enough for that match between me and her to happen.
But again, never say never.
Another one and I have to mention his name.
Irish Wolfhound
Eve Star: You sure hes not Scottish Aid?
Aid turns to look at Eve
Eve Star: I remember that he loved wearing a skirt
Aid: That was a kilt Eve.
And that only happened when we had a show in Scotland
Eve Star: Oh

Aid: Anyway, for those that are currently in ROG.
I don't think I've ever wrestled Diana La Cazadora.
I know I've wrestled Vanessa.
But don't think I've wrestled Diana.
Hopefully, that will happen before I eventually retire.
SM HeartBreaker is another one.
And when that does happen, I'm going to so enjoy kicking his butt.

Its not just about signing autographs for the fans.
Its also about interacting with them verbally.
Having discussions with them.
Telling stories.
And making sure that they have a great time.
Because without the fans, Ring Of Glory would not be around today.
As far as I'm concerned, they're the number one reason why Ring Of Glory has been going all these years.

So now, coming to the first question.....

The very first question that Sandra is ever going to ask!

Sandra Evans: Oh something like that would not bother me Aid.
And speaking of your name, I want to come to that soon.
But now, the first question.
Growing up as a young boy, was you a fan of Professional Wrestling?
Aid: As a young boy Sandra, I did watch it.
But Professional Wrestling was not the number one thing for me.
The number one thing for me was Football.
Or "Soccer" as the Americans like to call it.
I was a sporty person.
As a young lad, what I wanted in my future years was to be a footballer.
Not just a "normal" footballer.
But wanting to become, one of the best footballers on the planet.
Of course, I didn't get the chance to try and do that.
And one of the main reasons for that is myself

Aid: One of the things I'd like doing.
Especially after I left school.
Was to go training in gyms.
Get fitter.
But especially, get stronger.
But the thing is, getting stronger and growing muscles turned out to be quite easy for me.
Because of the hard work I was putting in training with using heavy weight plates for barbells.
And using heavy dumbells.
Somewhere along the line, it came to the realisation that I would be better off pursuing a career in Professional Wrestling.
Then pursuing one in Football
Sandra Evans: Was this realisation something you came to yourself?
Aid: Partially.
Mainly it was down to a man who I had a conversation with one day.
He told me that with the way my body was looking, I should pursue a career in Pro Wrestling.
I could so easily have said no to him.
But instead, I did what he suggested.
I considered the option to pursue a career in Pro Wrestling.
And in the end, I decided "Why not? Lets give it a try"
Sandra Evans: So.....

Suddenly, sneaking in on the right was a grinning Eve Star who is wearing tight dark blue jeans along with that white t-shirt having a horse on it with Aid's face covering the horse's face and Eve shown sat down on the horse which she wore on an Attitude show last year

Suddenly, Eve turns her back to the left of Aid

We were on about you deciding to give Professional Wrestling a try.
How did you go about doing this?
Aid: Well Sandra, I had luck on my side.
I had luck because England has a lot of Wrestling schools there

Aid: And for any young person out there who might be watching this.
And want to get into the Pro Wrestling business.
I cannot stress enough the very importance of Wrestling schools.
If you're serious about going into the Professional Wrestling business, then go to a Wrestling school.
Wrestling schools will help you.
Wrestling schools will teach you the important things.
That you need to know about the Professional Wrestling business.
Give you the necessary skills that you need.
Just remember, getting taught what you need to know does not happen overnight.
It can take years for you to know everything.
Years for you to be ready for the big wide world of Professional Wrestling.
So be prepared to put the hard work in

Sandra Evans: Of course, you've got your own gym which does this
Aid: Correct Sandra.
A gym back in my home city of Birmingham which is owned by me and Super Girl.
We get a fair amount of people coming in and having a keen interest in getting into the Pro Wrestling business.
Does everyone end up getting into the Pro Wrestling business?
No.
Just like with every Wrestling school around the world, not everyone that attends the gym ends up getting into the business.
Theres several different factors into why they don't succeed in getting in.
Thats life.
Thats just the way it is
Sandra Evans: Your gym also gets well known wrestlers coming in to train from time to time
Aid: Indeed Sandra.
Eve here, she regularly comes to the gym to train when she can.
We get other ROG wrestlers who in the past go to train in mine and Super Girl's gym when they can.
And some still do.
Like Lacey.
Like Sonic Xavier.
Like Kid Kitsune.
Desmond Curtis.
Just to name some.
And we also get well known wrestlers around the world in other feds who from time to time, come to train in mine and SG's gym
Eve Star: Its a great place
Aid: So anyway, after learning everything I had to know in Wrestling schools, I started going around.
Spending quite a while in fact.
Wrestling in local based shows in the West Midlands area.
Then with enough expereience, I started Wrestling around the country.
Then, in the whole of the United Kingdom.
Again, having gained the necessary experience.
All, for Wrestling for small Wrestling promotions.
But then one day, I got an offer.
An offer from a guy to come and join his Wrestling company.
Extreme Style Wrestling
The name of this guy was Kojo Styles.
So anyway, I joined the company in two thousand and ten.
Did some matches for them.
Something like fifteen I think.
Actually NEVER, lost a match.
Not one hundred percent sure if I won every match.
But I know I never lost one.
Not even by dqs.
Not even by countouts.
I was the Extreme Reckless champion.
HardcoreNarcis and Drake Reinhardt were also there at the same time as me.
Things were going along just fine.
But then suddenly from out of nowhere, the company went out of business
Sandra Evans: Did you know the reason for that?
Aid: No.
We just got told one day that the company would no longer operate.
It would no longer be doing any shows.
It was finished.
Dead.
That came as quite a bit of a shock to us.
So after this, I took a bit of a break.
And then next up for me, Ring Of Glory
Sandra Evans: I can understand why it would come as a shock to you guys.
That the company would just suddenly, shut it's doors.
And never explain why
Aid: Never getting told the reason why was the frustrating part
Sandra Evans: You wrestled there as Super Aid.
Which is what you originally did here in Ring Of Glory.
How did you come about getting called Super Aid?
Aid: Correct Sandra.
On both counts.
My real name is Adrian but I've been tended to get called Aid a lot more over the years.
As for how I came about to being called Super Aid.....
Aid pauses for three seconds
Aid: One day, me and a group of guys were having this discussion.
About who each of us would best be if we starred in a TV show.
Or in a movie.
For this one guy, we all thought he would be best being Barney the purple dinosaur
Sandra Evans: HAHAHAHAHA!
Aid: Seriously.
Thats is one hundred percent true.
And for another guy, it was thought he would be best being wait for it.....
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.

Aid: Well Sandra, don't go asking Super Girl.
Its very obviously who she would be.
Has for what lead to me becoming Super Aid, the group of guys believed that I would be best being Superman.
And we've watched all the Superman films.
This is something I never forgot.
And something I thought about when deciding on a name for myself.
So bottom line is, I decided to call myself Super Aid.
Aid being short for my real name which is Adrian.
But I probably wouldn't have called myself that if I hadn't watched those Superman films
Sandra Evans: So after the company you had wrestled for went out of business, what next?
What turned out to be the next and current step in your career?
Aid: Coming to Ring Of Glory
Sandra Evans: So how did you end up signing for Ring Of Glory?
Aid: Well firstly, let me just say this.
There was not one.
But two individuals who wanted me to come to Ring Of Glory.
One of them is in fact, right here with us
Sandra Evans: What, Eve?
Aid: Yes
Eve Star: Its true.
Its damn true.
I watched Aid a few times in action in that company he was talking about.
I loved seeing him kicking butt in the ring.
Then not long after Ring Of Glory was formed, I heard that company had gone out of business.
It was then that I realised that I would love to see Aid in Ring Of Glory.
I wanted to see it happen.
Aid.
In Ring Of Glory.
And it did eventually, happen
Aid: Its true that Eve here played a major role in me joining Ring Of Glory.
But the one who really pushed for me to come was Lacey.
She was the one who helped make it happen for me.
Of course, the ROG headquarters is based here in Montreal.
The home city of Eve.
And Lacey.
But yeah, I'm grateful for these two helping me get into Ring Of Glory.
Of course, I didn't come alone
Sandra Evans: You brought Super Girl with you
Aid: Correct.
Outside of the squared circle, bringing Super Girl to Ring Of Glory with me was the best thing I ever did
Sandra Evans: So now you're a part of Ring Of Glory.
And yet here you are, nearly nine years later.
And you're still, with Ring Of Glory.
Did you ever think that you would last this long?
Aid: Absolutely not.
Absolutely no way in hell did I think that I would last this long.
If I had lasted around five years, I would have been happy with that.
But nearly nine years?
Maybe going on to a full decade?
Never.
Never thought that would happen.
But here I am.
Nine years later.
And I'm still in Ring Of Glory.
So is Super Girl.

Okay, here goes.
For the first one

Aid: When me and Super Girl appeared for the first time in a ROG ring, one of the things we said we were going to do was to put on great matches.
And the number of great matches I've had in ROG over the years well, I've lost count on how many of them I've had.
There was that Four Team Elimination match inside a Steel Cage for the Tag Team Championship.
When me and SG went into the match as the champs and ended the match as former champs.
There was that loser must retire match at Night Of Glory Thirty Five.
With me and Cartwright.
The Attitude match where I challenged Jason Reeves for the Glory World Championship.
The time when I faced off with the GM of ROG at the time.
Morphy's wife, Helena.
The first ever one on one match I had with Lacey.
You know, the one where Hypnos chokeslammed Lacey through the announcer's table after the match
Sandra Evans: Who could ever forget that.
It played a big part in the Attitude versus Evilution war
Eve Star: What about me Aid?
Wrestling me was the best match you've ever been involved in right?
Aid looks towards Eve
Aid: Well Eve.
I have to admit, the tag match me and SG had with you and SJ last year was definitely one of the best matches I've ever been involved in
Eve Star: But.....
Aid: But....
Aid pauses for a couple of seconds as he looks away from Eve and looks back towards Sandra
Aid: I have to go with another match that took place last year.
A match that opened up the first Attitude show after Night Of Glory Fourty Nine.
And that was me.
Versus.
Super Girl.
Seriously, that had everything.
Drama.
Emotion.
The countless number of times where Super Girl almost ended my career.
Me surviving TWO, Super Bombs in a row.
The stipulation of me having to retire if I got pinned or made to submit played a big part in it.
Now me and Super Girl have never had bad matches against each other.
Generally, our matches have been great.
None more greater than the last match we had last year.
Whatever matches I have between now and the end of my career, will probably likely not top that one.
Even the very last match that puts me into retirement may not top it

Aid: Now for the biggest win I've ever had.
There was obviously that retirement match with Cartwright at Night Of Glory Thirty Five.
Which I won.
And put Carty into what would turn out to be a "temporary retirement".
Me defeating Super Girl to win the Glory World Championship at Night Of Glory Twenty Three
And ending her record breaking streak as the Glory World champion.
Does she still hold that record?
Sandra Evans: She may do
Aid: But for me, the biggest win was when me and Super Girl became the first ever Tag Team champions.
It was the very first championship that me and SG had won in ROG.
Without this, I would have not had the career that I have had.
I may not have become a ROG legend if it wasn't for that.
So yeah, winning my first championship is what set me on my way.
As for my favourite in-ring opponent.....

Aid: I'm fortunate in that I've never had an opponent that I disliked having matches with.
Never had anyone I disliked working with.
I loved the matches I had with Jason Reeves.
Sonic Xavier.
Cartwright.
Gigantus.
Hypnos.
Nikky.
Nicole Trunfio.
Tammy.
Alana Reeves.
Vanessa Dynamite.
SJ Pandora and Eve Star.
The list could go on and on

Aid: I especially loved wrestling with Lacey though.
She was awesome.
But for sheer consistency of how great our matches were, my favourite in-ring opponent has to be Super Girl.
That last match with her which I had mentioned to you was a perfect example of why.
And shes also my favourite tag team partner.
I mean, we've been Tag Team champions three times.
I absolutely loved teaming with Lacey too.
And this lady sat on my lap as well.
But definitely Super Girl because of what we've done together

Aid: Seriously though, I would have to say Lacey inducting me and Super Girl into the ROG Hall Of Fame.
And for the best thing I ever did.....
It was bringing Super Girl to ROG with me.
Because without her, I wouldn't be here right now.
I probably would likely have not lasted the amount of time that I've had in ROG.
Then again, I would probably say this same thing if it wasn't also for the likes of Lacey.

And I know for a fact Aid that you are quite a popular figure backstage Aid.
You're regarded as like, a locker room leader

I like to see people who come in to ROG succeed.
Have successful long careers.
But to do that, they need to put the work in.
Thats why there are places like the gym that me and Super Girl have.
And the ROG performance centre.
Something which I actually didn't mention earlier but will now.
Places, like these that can help them.
And something else that they need.
Is one word.
One key word.
Patience

Aid: Also, there are a couple of things that I do not like.
Wrestlers getting bullied.
And wrestlers with inflated egos that think they are bigger than ROG.
Bigger than the Wrestling business.
Theres a couple of names that come to mind.
But I will not say their names.
Because their names don't deserve to be mentioned
Eve Star: Aid once saved me Sandra
Aid: Thats true.
Now Eve here, she can look after herself.
But there was this one time.
Backstage.
When Eve was getting bullied by two drunken yobs.
Because she politely turned down their requests to take her out on a date.
Something which did not sit well with the drunken yobs.
Did security showup and put a stop to it?
No.
It was me and Super Girl.
There was people there though whilst this was going on.
So me and SG, we got a hold of those two yobs and threw them out of the arena.
Like sacks of garbage.
And the people that were there to witness this?
They cheered.
They cheered me and SG for what we did.
Bottom line is, we love to interact with people.
But theres a line that should not be crossed
Eve Star: Damn right
Aid: And believe me Sandra, if someone tried bullying the likes of me.

Aid: Very good question that

There is this one lady that I would love to tangle with in the ring.
A very well known lady.
Called, Platform.
It would be fun to see what would happen.
Will the match ever happen?
Probably unlikely.
Afterall, I do have this stipulation hanging over my head.
Where the next time I lose by getting pinned or being made to submit, my career is over.
Now I'm only saying its probably unlikely to happen.
I'm not saying it will never happen.
Because you never know.
Madam Snapshot is another I would have loved to have wrestled.
I've spoken to her a few times and shes always been good to be.
But I can say that a match between me and her will definitely never happen.
Because I believe shes retired.
And also, a couple of former ROG wrestlers

Aid: Like, Charlotte Kelly.
Remember when she came to ROG?
In her in-ring debut, she defeated Alexis Covell to win the Glory Women's Championship!
Sandra Evans: It was quite an upset at the time
Aid: Indeed.
Shame she didn't stick around long enough for that match between me and her to happen.
But again, never say never.
Another one and I have to mention his name.

For me though, I do love SJ.

And her obession with using me as her horsey.
Her and Eve being coppers and turning into Cops Of Hope.
Her other obsession of eating ice cream.
Shes never boring.

Sonic Xavier
Aid: One of the most talented individuals to have ever been in Ring Of Glory.
When he started off, he was basically using the name of a legend.
Sonic The Hedgehog.
But since those days, he has grown.
He has moved away from being the hedgehog.
He became, Sonic Xavier.
He became, his own man.
He was apart of the WWO heel faction wih me as the leader of it
He overthrew me and became the leader of it himself.
Hes had stunning segments with Jason Reeves.
Great matches with him.
He has become a legend himself.
And deservedly so.
Sonic Xavier is a future Hall Of Famer.
Not only that, I'm also really good friends with him.
Incredible on the mic.
Outstanding in the ring
Sandra Evans: And since you've just mentioned him.

Aid: One of the greatest of all time.

I helped train her but there was more to us than that.

Shes also the biggest sweetheart you could ever meet.
The amount of outside of ROG work she does for the kids.
To cheer them up.
To make them feel good about themselves.
And doing the same for adults with disabilities.

So what did he do?
He got involved in the fighting!

But with him, he did more than just get involved in the fighting.
One, by, one.
He started throwing the drunks out of the pub.
Through the exit doors.
Even though the windows.
He was throwing them all out like sacks of garbage.
And after he threw them all out, he calmly asked for another pint.
Of course, he did pay for the damage that was caused

Thats one thing that doesn't get mentioned much about Lacey.

Not just for me but for other wrestlers too.
Lacey has quite a creative mind.
Also, you've seen me do this occasionly on ROG shows.
But I also do this when I'm training outside of ROG.
Where I do push-ups with people sat down on my back.
Which by the way, is not easy to do.
Annie Fong: How did that come about anyway?
Aid: It happened when I didn't expect it.
One day, I was in the gym that me and Super Girl own.
And whilst training, I was down on the floor preparing to do some push-ups.
Push-ups is one of my favourite exercises to do.
Lacey knew this.
And just when I was about to start, Lacey showed up.
And planted her bum firmly down fullweight on my back.
As I found out later, this was part of a rib that she, Super Girl, Eve and Tammy had talked about doing to me.
But Lacey got in first before those three.
So when I saw her, I asked her what she was doing.
Lacey said that she was sitting on me.
And then, she challenged me before I could respond

Aid: I'm well known for being quite strong.
Because of that, Lacey challenged me to do push-ups whilst she was sat on my back.
And being the person that I am, I took up that challenge.

I said earlier that bringing her to ROG with me was the best thing I did.
I stick with that.
I helped train her but there was more to us than that.
We became best friends.
And business partners.
Hence why we have our own Gym.
Shes also the biggest sweetheart you could ever meet.
The amount of outside of ROG work she does for the kids.
To cheer them up.
To make them feel good about themselves.
And doing the same for adults with disabilities.
Is incredible.
Absolutely love her to bits.
Honestly, I couldn't imagine what my life would be like right now without her in it

Hes good enough to be one.

Hes very capable of doing that.
But what hes not capable of is retiring me.

Aid: Arkken hasn't been around in ROG for long.
But her reputation in the world of Pro Wrestling is second to none.
I for one am glad that a lady like her is in Ring Of Glory.
She is one of the most honest and genuine human beings you could meet.
She takes no crap from anyone.

Sandra Evans: Max Thomas
Aid: The American Samurai

Aid: One thing I can definitely say about Max is this.
He is one of the most respected guys.
Not just in Ring Of Glory.
But in the Pro Wrestling business period.
And rightly so.
Hes also one of the best performers in the Wrestling business.
And has been for years.
And you know one thing he is great at doing?
Teaching.
Teaching people about the Wrestling business.
Helping to train people.
To get them prepared.
And ready.
For the Wrestling business if, they do end up going into it.
The best example of someone listening to Max.
Of someone getting trained.
And prepared for the Wrestling business is Kid Kitsune

It got her a reign as Glory Women's champion.

Who has been with Ring Of Glory since day one.
And nine years later, shes still going strong.
Shes another one who I consider a good friend.

And I've never forgotten the fact that he was the first one who sent me to the hospital.
Behind the scenes, he was a bit quiet too.
But he was also easy to get along with.
Even though in the ring he was a wrecking machine.
A monster.
Behind the scenes, he was a nice guy

For the amount of time that he was in Ring Of Glory.
And it wasn't long.
He made quite the impact.
And behind the scenes, he was actually, a popular figure with the wrestlers.

One of the very few who have made me tap out in the ring
Sandra Evans: The one where she sat down on the back of your head whilst having you in the Boston Crabbat?
Aid: Correct Sandra.
As for Nicole, top lady.
Popular with the other wrestlers.
Especially Tammy.
They weren't just tag team partners.
They were also close friends behind the scenes.
She has been known to play a few pranks.
Especially on me.
But I'll leave it at that

Oh, my, goodness!
A crazy but lovable young lady.
Just like with Nicole, can play some pranks.
In my case, she would unexpectedly sit on the top of my head!

But she did more of that to Hypnos!

Aid: In truth though Sandra, I do miss Nikki.
She was a very popular young lady

Aid: Heres a guy who consistently has lived up to that surname of his during his ROG career.
A fine wrestler.
A fine talker.
And, a fine person

Aid: Lacey's younger sister
And yes, she really is Lacey's younger sister.
I love the little runt.

But seriously, me and Stacey get on great.
Although she is another one who likes to play pranks.
Especially on her sister, Lacey.
Again, I won't go in details on that.
But yeah, Stacey is a fun young lady

Now if there is a guy that you want to back you up in a fight, its him.
I've got this great story about him.

Aid: One evening, a big fight was taking place inside a pub.
Involving a fair amount of drunk guys.
Go at it with each other.
Of course, Narcis just wanted to a have quiet night drinking.
So what did he do?
He got involved in the fighting!
Sandra Evans: Really?
Aid: Yes.
But with him, he did more than just get involved in the fighting.
One, by, one.
He started throwing the drunks out of the pub.
Through the exit doors.
Even though the windows.
He was throwing them all out like sacks of garbage.
And after he threw them all out, he calmly asked for another pint.
Of course, he did pay for the damage that was caused
Sandra Evans: Wow
Aid: But yeah, hes a great guy
Sandra Evans: Vanessa Dynamite

Aid: My cowgirl buddy.
Shes just like Kid Kitsune.
One of the biggest sweethearts that you could possibly meet.
And also someone that I'm very good friends with.

Aid: I have to admit, I don't know Diana as well as I do her tag partner.
And best friend.
Vanessa Dynamite.
But, Diana is one tough lady.
Someone not to be messed with.
Everyone behind the scenes respect her.

Aid: Good grief.
Now that really is a blast from the past.
I don't recall how long Ashley was in Ring Of Glory.
But from what I remember, Ashley was great with me.
We got along just fine
Sandra Evans: And now, we come to the last name
Aid: Hold on Sandra.
I know who this is.
Its that Lacey.
Right?
Sandra Evans: You guest correctly on the name
Aid: I guess I can slag her off then hahahahaha.
But seriously though, what can I say about the legend that is Lacey?
Besides her and Eve here being the main reasons why I came to ROG

Aid: The moment we first met each other, we hit it off.
Just like that.
Meeting her in person for the person.
And getting to know her.
Is one of the best things I've ever done.
She along with Super Girl are the two I'm closest to.
The two I trust the most.
Although like I said, I'm also very close to Eve here.
You know what my alltime favourite thing to do in ROG is?
Besides kicking butts in the ring and winning championships?
Annie Fong: Whats that?
Aid: Being Lacey's boyfriend.
I just love that.
And I know Lacey loves that too.
It was Lacey's idea for me and her to get together.
Thats one thing that doesn't get mentioned much about Lacey.
Jason Reeves is know for coming up with great ideas
But Lacey has come up with great ideas herself.
Not just for me but for other wrestlers too.
Lacey has quite a creative mind.
Also, you've seen me do this occasionly on ROG shows.
But I also do this when I'm training outside of ROG.
Where I do push-ups with people sat down on my back.
Which by the way, is not easy to do.
Annie Fong: How did that come about anyway?
Aid: It happened when I didn't expect it.
One day, I was in the gym that me and Super Girl own.
And whilst training, I was down on the floor preparing to do some push-ups.
Push-ups is one of my favourite exercises to do.
Lacey knew this.
And just when I was about to start, Lacey showed up.
And planted her bum firmly down fullweight on my back.
As I found out later, this was part of a rib that she, Super Girl, Eve and Tammy had talked about doing to me.
But Lacey got in first before those three.
So when I saw her, I asked her what she was doing.
Lacey said that she was sitting on me.
And then, she challenged me before I could respond
Lacey is seen nodding her head, basically confirming what Aid said is true
Aid: I'm well known for being quite strong.
Because of that, Lacey challenged me to do push-ups whilst she was sat on my back.
And being the person that I am, I took up that challenge.
And the rest, is history

Aid: Overall, I absolutely love Lacey to bits.
Have done since I met her the first time.
And nobody is more happy and proud at everything she has achieved in her career than me.
